Tres ´´El´´s

El Calafate:

We flew from Buenos Aires to El Calafate, in the Patagonia region of Argentina. It´s a small, cute town but the most interesting thing we did was ¨mini¨ trekking on Glacier Perito Moreno. We spent an hour and a half with crampons on our shoes. Up and down over the ice was amazing and we got to see the most blue water we have ever seen. This glacier is famous for being the only glacier in the world staying stable...meaning it is not shrinking or expanding. Huge chunks would fall off into the lake below (which we got to see .. very cool!) but it replaces itself quite rapidly at the top. It was a great experience.

We havent had good access to internet recently. We will post more and include pictures as soon as we can. Just so you know, we are headed to El Bolson tonight on a 34 hour night bus. Miss everyone!
